The Shelby Inn, an 1800's town/Bed&Breakfast offers you 4 unique farmhouses to select from and a wonderful Country Inn with 2 suites available for your next stay. There is a beautiful country Wedding Chapel available for your special day or special event. The Shelby Inn, a beautiful 1880's country Texas town, is a gated 4 acre unique experience in which you can walk the beautiful grounds of perrenial flower gardens and enjoy this little slice of history. Cancellation PolicyA deposit of half of the stay is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit is refundable if cancellations are made up to four weeks before arrival less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within those 30 days are non-refundable. There is a $50 surcharge fee for bad checks and leaving without payment.Special NotesWe pride ourselves at The Shelby Inn to make your wedding unique and just the way you like it. Depending on the requests/details of each wedding the costs vary, but upon agreement a deposit of half of the cost of the wedding is required to confirm your special day. We can make exceptions to possibly postpone or change a wedding date, but the deposit is non-refundable.Directions From Round Top Square (8 miles)The Shelby is located 8 miles from Round Top Square. Take FM 1457 west to Shelby, Tx. approximately 8 miles to FM 389. Stay on FM 1457 (going through the intersection at FM 389) looking to the right to our charming wedding chapel, The Shelby Inn and our l800's gated town/B&B...Take the first right at Voelkel Rd. to the first iron gate entrance.
